Take the Brain Board Game by Parker (1970)
Take the Brain is a strategy game which is similar to chess but much more Fun for the Younger Player.
Each player has a Brain , 4 Numskulls and 8 Ninnies which he sets up on the Board in the Squares provided on either side of the Board .
The board consists of 56 Squares each of which are printed with various types of Directional arrows .
Movement is determined by the direction of the arrow or arrows in the square.
Each Player takes it in turns to move one piece only and must follow the Arrows,The Brain is allowed to move one Square, Ninnies can also move one Square while Numskulls can move any number of squares in a straight line.
Ninnies if they can reach there opponents Numskull marked squares are removed from the Board and are promoted to a Numskull.
The Winner of the Game is the first Player to Capture the Opponents Brain which can be a lot more difficult than it seems.
This is a fun game and quite addictive and is an excellent introduction into the great game of Chess .
The Game is very easy to learn However, the game will vary in difficulty depending on the skill of the opponent especially as both players can "see" all possible moves to and from a square which can make the game harder than you'd think!
The Playing figures are really fun and is a Game that once Played will never be forgotten.
The Game is for 2 Players,Aged 8 Years to Adult
The Game is Complete and the Contents are in Very Good Condition.
The Box is in Good Plus Condition for its Age.
