Escalado - Horse Racing Game (Second Patent Granted Edition) by Chad Valley (1929)
This is one of the best Horse Racing Games ever made to bring Family and Friends together.
This was originally designed and made in 1928 and has stood the test of time .
This Version is the Second Patent Granted Edition and was produced I believe in 1929 
The Game consists of a long material Track with small wooden obstacles along its length , 
The Track is held in position at both ends , The 5 Colourful Metal Horses are positioned at the Start and by turning the Wooden Handle /Mechanism it causes the Track to Vibrate which moves the Horses forward.
The Wooden Mechanism also creates the unique sound which adds to the atmosphere and excitement as the Horses move neck and neck up the long Track until they sometimes hit the obstacles or obstruct each other.
Every Race is different and exciting and you will soon find yourself getting carried away as your Horse hits the Front.
You can give your Horses different names and you can bet on them by giving odds on their success.
All Ages ,young and old love this Game.
This Version has great Box Artwork , Wooden Mechanism,Quality Track and 5 Quality Metal Horses.
The Game can be played by any number of Players , Aged 6 Years to Adult
The Game is Complete and the Contents are in Very Good Condition for its Age with no damage to the Horses which sometimes occur (There is some paint loss which is expected as the game is close to 100 years Old, The Track is in Excellent Condition for its Age and also contains the original unopened wooden peg/Pin Spares. There is also two card pieces which I have not seen before which I believe is to position the spare pegs if needed. Also included are brass chips to Wager on the Horses
The Box is in Very Good Condition for its Age and contains the inner packaging Box for the Horses .
