Super Blockbusters - TV Quiz Game by Waddingtons (1989)
This was a Cult Quiz Game from the 1980's which was popular with Young and Old.
The Show was hosted by our Bob Holness who is fondly remembered and is part of the reason the Show was so Successful.
The 3D Game Board has a series of Honeycomb Blocks ,each Block contains a "Letter".
The Aim of the Game is to travel from one side of the Board to the other with a Continuous path of Letters
If you are the Blue contestant you Travel Horizontal while the White Travels Vertically.
The White Player has the shortest Route so if there are 3 Players , 1 Player is White & 2 Players are Blue.
The First Player chooses a letter and attempts to answer the Question,if they are successful they cover the Letter with the appropriate coloured Cover
and choose another letter and so attempting to navigate across the Board, if they answer incorrectly it is Player 2 Turn.
This can be a strategic Game, do you try to block your opponents Route or do you attempt to reach the other side of the Board straight away.
In this Version of Super Blockbusters ,the Player who Wins the Round may attempt the Gold Run.
A Prize maybe given to any Player who is successful in the Gold Run.
There are 2,400 Questions in the 1st Round of the Game and an additional 2,000 Gold Run Questions.
The Game is for 2 or More Players , Aged 16 Years to Adult.

The Game is Complete and the Contents are in Very Good Condition.
The Box is also in Very Good Condition for its Age.
