Burlington - International Horse Cross Country Board Game by Hope House Games (1989)
This is a Game that is a mixture between a Race Game and a Trivia Game which works very well indeed.
Players are Cross Country Horse Riders who must complete the Famous Burlington Cross Country Race.
The Players start the Race and come to the obstacles which are all rated on their difficulty to Jump.
When you reach an obstacle you must answer a General Knowledge Question, get it right and you have Jumped it well,
get it wrong and you will incur the Penalty Faults for that Fence , along the Course you could also incur other Faults 
such as riding too slow,Horse refusing to Jump,Horse Runs out,Rider Fall etc.There is also points incurred for your Finishing Position .
Along the Course you have choices of the Route you would like to take, a Shorter Route might be Quicker but it could be more hazardous,
whereas the Longer Route might take more time but it could get you less Fault Points . 
The Player with the least points at the end of the Race is deemed the Winner.
The Game is for 2 to 6 Players with one Player being the Quiz Master.

The Game is Complete and the Contents are in Very Good Condition.
The Box is in Good to Very Good Condition for its Age but there is some storage creasing to the Base of the Box .
