Win,Place &Show Board Game by Avalon Hill (1977)
This is a must Game for any Race Fan,
There are Six Races to Compete in, First of all you must bid for a Horse at Auction hoping to outbid your opponents to land the Horse of your choice.
But remember you can't spend all your Money at the Auction as you will also need it for Betting on your Chosen Horses.
When the Auction is over ,you've got your Horse,he's now yours to ride.
You are now  instructing the Jockey and the Race is on, From the starting Gate to the Finish all the decisions are yours, when to hug the rails,or move
to the outside,when to hold back and the decisive moment when to Sprint for the Finish Line, you also need to check your Jockey to see if he is a Crafty
Veteran or an enthusiastic Apprentice (Everyone has Special Advantages).
You also have to pick  and place Bets on the probable Winners as the one with the most Money at the end of the Six Races is deemed the Winner.
The Game is for 3 to 6 Players, Ages 12 Years to Adult.

The Game is Complete and the Contents  are in Very Good Condition ,
The Box is in Good Condition for its Age with a bit Creasing and slight Age related wear but overall a nice example.
