Striker League Champions Board Game by Palitoy / Parker (1974)
In this Game you take the role of a Football Manager and take control of one of the six British Teams (Liverpool,Leeds,Aberdeen,Blackpool,Derby or Leicester) or you can make your own Team on the Blanks provided.
You Start the Season with £1,000,000 and three random Star Players (1 to 4 Stars) which are added together to form your Rating.
You will proceed around the Board and follow the instructions ,these include taking a Team Fortune Card which could bring you Luck or as in Football sometimes bad Luck ie Increase your Star Player Ratings,Gain Wealth,Buy Players,Forced to Sell them etc . Get a Star Player , Transfer Player or Some Squares will force you into a Match against your choosen Opponent in which you  must play a 3D Penalty Shoot out in the Center of the Board.
The higher rating you are the more shots at Goal you have thus increasing your chances of winning (1 o 4 Stars = 1 Shot  ,  5 - 8 Stars = 2 Shots , 9 to 12 Stars = 3 Shots and 13 Stars or more = 4 Shots).  The Winner of the Penalty Shoot outs gets 2 Points for a Win and 1 Point for a Draw.
The Penalty Shoot Out really adds extra excitement to the Game as you have a Striker Player who by Pressing his head kicks the Ball and a Striker Goalkeeper that not only moves but can dive for the Ball (See Box Cover illustration).
The Points are added to your Teams Name on the live Scoreboard.
After each Managers Team has Played everybody twice the Season is Over and the Team with the highest points Total is the Winner.
This is a great Game which combines the Tradition Board Game with the 3D Action of the Striker Game.
The Game is for 2 to 6 Players,Aged 8 Years to Adult
The Game is Complete and the Contents are in Excellent Condition for its Age
The Box is in Very Good Condition just a small amount of storage wear and  couple of Sellotape removal Scuffs on the Base of the Box (see Picture) but for its Age  I would class it as Very Good.
