Escalado - Horse Racing Game (Red Box Edition) by Chad Valley (1960) Unplayed
This is one of the best Horse Racing Games ever made to bring Family and Friends together.
This was originally designed and made in 1929 and stood the test of time until the 1970's where finally cost cutting and design changes ruined the game.
This Version is the Red Box Edition and was produced in the late 1950's to early 1960's
The Game consists of a long material Track with small wooden obstacles along its length , 
The Track is held in position at both ends , The 5 Colourful Metal Horses are positioned at the Start and by turning the Wooden Handle /Mechanism it causes the Track to Vibrate which moves the Horses forward.
The Wooden Mechanism also creates the unique sound which adds to the atmosphere and excitement as the Horses move neck and neck up the long Track until they sometimes hit the obstacles or obstruct each other.
Every Race is different and exciting and you will soon find yourself getting carried away as your Horse hits the Front.
You can give your Horses different names and you can bet on them by giving odds on their success.
All Ages ,young and old love this Game.
This Version has great Box Artwork , Wooden Mechanism,Quality Track and 5 Quality Metal Horses.
The Game can be played by any number of Players , Aged 6 Years to Adult
The Game is Complete and the Contents are excellent Condition and I believe the Game is unplayed as the Clips are still in their sealed packet , Horses Unmarked and even the unique rubber bands which normally perish are in great condition, the Track is as new just a few marks where it has been rolled 
The Box is in Good to Very Good Condition for its Age.
A True Gaming Classic and to find one in this Condition is quite special
