Bayko Building Set No 2 by Bayko (1950's) Unused
Bayko was first Manufactured in 1934 by Plimpton Engineering from Liverpool until 1959 where it was acquired by Meccano until it finally ceased production in 1967.
Bayko is a realistic architectural Construction Toy which has great versatility and you can build from small Garages upto mighty Skyscrapers depending on the amount of Material you have and your Imagination.
The Sets were Numbered 0 to 4 .  The Basic Set was ' 0 ' reaching the more complex Set ' 4 '
This is the Middle Set Number 2 and gives you all the Material and Instruction Manuals to make all the Buildings from Set 0 , 1 and 2 but as many more as your imagination takes you.
Converting Sets could be purchased which would increase your Building Material and could take you right up to Set 4 without Purchasing another full Set.
The Construction method is unique and even though you use Plastic Bricks,Windows etc they are put together by Metal Rods and Metal Joining pieces similar to Meccano.
While maybe not as versatile as Lego , The Buildings that Bayko produce are much more realistic.
The Set is Complete and the Contents are in Very Good Condition and I believed unused as the Cellophane although slightly open is present on 2 of the 3 Brick Sets.
The Box is in Very Good Condition for its Age with great Graphics although there is some slight staining as I have shown in the pictures but for a Box that is 75 Years Old it is Very Good.
This is a great Set to own ,Build or Display
