Balyna Football - Table Top Football Game by Toogood & Jones Ltd (1950s)
This is the rare Balyna Table top Football released by Toogood & Jones in the 1950s and is not to be confused with the Magnetic Version which they released at a later date.
This Game is in some respects related to Subbuteo , The Players move about the pitch and kick the Ball (small plastic disc) by using a small paddle which is used to flick the Player.
As in Subbuteo ,each Player can only flick the Ball 3 Times and then another one of your Players must flick the Ball.
You lose possession by missing the Ball , Hitting your opponent ,or allowing the Ball to hit your Opponent..
This Game is very exciting especially when you master using the Paddle to flick the Players.
The Game is for 2 Players ,Aged 7 Years to Adult.
The Game is fully Complete with all Players,Pitch,Goals,Balls,Pegs and Clips.
The Contents are in Good to Very Good Condition for its Age ,
The Canvas Pitch is in Good Condition but has shrunk slightly due to it being rolled in the Box over the Years, it is perfectly playable but as can be seen from the picture  the Metal Frame would be very tight if fitted together and I did not want to force it . I have unrolled it a few times and each time it stretches a little more so over time I am sure this will return to its normal size . This does not affect Play as the second edition games had no frame at all.
The Box is in Very Good Condition for its Age.
This is a Rare Football Game and to find one fully Complete with all the Pins,Clips ,Balls and Players is a little Special.
