Hornet Leader is an exciting solitaire game that challenges you to command squadron of F/A-18 Hornet strike-fighters in an almost endless variety of combat missions.
From the decks of U.S. Navy carriers you lead your squadron against 26 different target types - from naval strikes and fleet air defense to fighter sweeps and ground attacks.
As Squadron Commander you must select the best Team for each Mission from the Fifteen Naval and Marine Aviators under your Command.
Each one of your Aviators has his own unique Skill and flying Style.
You must then decide how many F/A-18's you will Fly and the Type of Weapons you will Carry to try to complete your Mission.
Once in the Air dozens of surprises await to upset your Plans, these include Munition shortages,Enemy early Warning and Tomahawk Strikes.
You may get help from friendly F-14 Tomcats or F-117 Stealth Fighters or you may have to Scramble for survival due to Faulty Intelligence,
There are also MiG's ,SAM's and Anti Aircraft Batteries to Thwart your Success.
In the Game there are 26 Target Cards and 33 Mission and Special Event Cards along with 15 Briefing Cards you will be able to embark on Hundreds of Exciting Missions.
The Game features a multitude of different Munitions to use including : Mk82 and Mk83 Bombs ,Mavericks,Harpoons and HARM's while a variety of deadly SAM's and AAA
try to shoot you down.
In Air Combat you will be Armed with your M-61 Cannon and Sparrow and Sidewinder Missiles in which you will Dogfight with Enemy MiG's  flown by Pilots with varying Skills
and Styles.
The Game is for 1 Player or 2 Can Play as a Team,Aged 12 Years to Adult.
