Cluedo - The Great Detective Game by Waddingtons (1972)
The classic detective game! This is the early 1970's version but was first made in 1943
In Cluedo, A Murder has been committed in a Old English Country House (Tudor Mansion)
You must solve the Murder by identifying the Murderer/Murderess (Character) ,which Room the Murder occurred and also  find the Murder Weapon.
There are Three types of Card , 1) Characters - These are the occupants of the Tudor Mansion at the time of the Murder such as Mrs White (The Cook with the mysterious past),The Reverend Green the Holy Vicar of the Parish or is he, Professor Plum the absent minded academic  ,Colonel Mustard - The Retired Military officer with a unknown History, Mrs Peacock the stylish Socialite ,Miss Scarlet The Femme Fatale Character who will stop at nothing 2) The Weapons - The Revolver,The Dagger,The Candlestick ,The Lead Piping, The Rope and the Spanner" 3) The Rooms - The Kitchen , The Ballroom, The Conservatory,The Dining Room,The Billiard Room,The Library,The Lounge,The Hall and the Study.
One Card is removed from each type and placed secretly in the "Murder Envelope".
All the Cards are placed together and thoroughly shuffled and dealt to each Player
Players must move around the Mansion visiting the Rooms, On Reaching the Room the Player may make a "Suggestion" by calling one of her suspects to the same room,as well as the suspected Murder Weapon (for Example :You as the Player are Miss Scarlet who reaches the Lounge and calls the Rev Green who is immediately moved to the Lounge along with the suspected Murder Weapon the Dagger, The Player now says to the Player on their Left I suggest the Murder was committed by the Rev Green with the Dagger in the Lounge, if the Player on the Left has any of these Cards they secretly show one Card only to Miss Scarlet  , if the Player on the Left has none of these Cards the same Question is asked of the next Player.
Through deductive reasoning each player must figure out which character, weapon, and location are in the secret file. To do this, each player must uncover what cards are in other players hands by making more and more suggestions. Once a player knows what cards the other players are holding, they will know what cards are in the Murder Envelope, and then make an accusation. If correct, the player wins, but if incorrect, the player must return the cards to the file without revealing them and may no longer make suggestions or accusations. A great game for those who enjoy reasoning and thinking things out.
This is a Great interactive Game that all ages enjoy with Bluffs and double Bluffs as slowly but surely you eliminate the Suspects,Weapons and Rooms but the pressure mounts as the Game goes on as you never know how close the other Players are to solving the Murder.
The Game is for 2 to 6 Players, Aged 8 Years to Adult
