Wembley - Football Board Game by Ariel (1973)
This is another Childhood Favourite ,The Fabulous Game of "Wembley".
In this Game there are 32 Teams competing in the Famous F.A Cup.
The Teams are Randomly divided up between the Players with a certain number going up for Auction,
The 32 Teams are made up Teams from the old 1st ,2nd and 3rd/4th Division each with a different Monetary Value.
Depending on which division your Team is in determines the Colour of the Dice you use for Home and Away Matches.
The 1st Division Dice have a better chance of Winning than the 2nd Division and the 2nd Division Dice have a better chance than the 3rd/4th.
The Teams are shuffled and split between the Home and Away and placed on the Board.
As the First Teams are revealed the Players throw the appropriate Colour Dice (Home Teams Throw First) ,The Winner Progresses to the Next Round
and the Loser is eliminated from the Competition.
Gate Money is given to each of the Teams involved with Two Thirds to the Winner and 1/3 to the Loser.
During the Competition "International Players" can be bought which can add to your Goal Tally but there is only a limited Number and they must be used wisely
because if you play them and your Team loses , your International Player is Lost.
As the Teams progress through each Round of the Competition, Bonus Money will be paid.
The Winner of the Game is not the Player who wins the Cup but the one who has accumulated the Most Money at the end.
This is a Great Game that will bring back memories of this famous Competition and when you see some of the Teams and what Division they were in , in the 70's
compared to today and the Artwork for this Box Design is the best Version.
The Game is for 3 to 8 Players,Aged 8 Years to Adult

The Game is Complete and the Contents are in Very Good Condition
The Box is in Excellent Condition for its Age
