Totopoly Horse Racing Board Game by Waddingtons (1940's)
This is a very early Version of this Classic Horse Racing Game .
The Game is split into Two Halves, the First is the Training of the Horses and the Second being the Actual Race.
Starting with £700, each player can buy horses and/or businesses in two steps, first by lot and then by auction.
The Horses are Split into Colours, each Horse has its own Race Name and the Colour of the Horses depict whether they are Lightweights or Heavyweight Horses , with the Heavyweights having an Advantage when it comes to the Big Race
The players make one lap around the Training Track of the game board with each of their horses where the players collect advantage and disadvantage cards to be used in the race.
Also on the Training Track, the players gain or lose money that can be bet on the race.
Once the players have circumnavigated the Training Track, the game board is flipped to reveal the Race Track.
The players may enter only 3 horses into the race. The players may bet on any horse to win. After the betting is over the race begins.
The players roll one die and move their horses in turn, utilizing the cards earned during the first half of the game whenever it is felt to be advantageous.
The Winner of the Game is the Horse that First passes the Winning Post but alterations to the Rules can be made to be the Player with the most Money.
This Version of the Game contains the rarer Cardboard and Wood Horses which were made due to the Metal Shortages caused by the Second World War,
This Version also contains a Separate Playing Board and Box.
The Game is for 2 to 6 Players,Aged 8 Years to Adult

The Game is Complete and is in Excellent Condition for its Age, The Game is Unplayed All the Horse Tokens are unpunched from their Sheet .
The Box is in Very Good Condition for its Age.
I have had a few of these Games over the Years but I don't think I will see another one like this again.
