to Attack any incoming American Convoys.
The United States have promised to keep the Gulf open and has dispatched a Battle Group to the strait of Homuz,Air Wing 17 provides an umbrella of protection
to the Vulnerable Surface Vessels and even now US Frigates have started to Escort empty Oil Supertankers into the shallow Waters of the Straight.
5th Fleet is the fourth game in Victory Games popular Fleet Series and as per the others can be Played Independently without owning any of the others.
 It examines the strengths and weaknesses of the Soviet and American navies, plus their respective allies, in the vast expanse of the Indian Ocean.
Far from their home bases, each superpower's capital ships, attack submarines, and limited air assets must be protected from the devastating firepower of modern missile, torpedo, and bomb attacks while inflicting maximum damage on the enemy.
The shifting military and political alliances in the area and the presence of the modern Indian Navy are variables that will strongly affect future war in these troubled waters. 
5th Fleet, with its multitude of options and strategies, continues Victory Games line of realistic simulations of modern naval combat.
The Game covers a vast Area with 3 Maps supplied each of which is 22" x 32" and over 700 Counters including the Military from a vast number of Countries including the U.S,Soviets,UK,France,Italy,Australia,Somalia,Pakistan,Thailand,Malaysia,Saudi Arabia,Iran,Kuwait,Bahrain,UAE, etc etc.
